Regional Platforms and Meetings

The General Assembly, in its resolution A/RES/68/211 stresses the importance of regional coordination in the framework of the preparatory process in order to promote broad participation in the Third UN World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction, and welcomes in this regard the deliberations of the regional platforms and meetings scheduled in 2014.
